Over a decade ago, the desire to teach yoga awakened within Mollie, and she has been faithfully following that intention ever since.  Her studies of yoga began with the combined practices of Iyengar inspired Hatha yoga, and Kundalini yoga.  When later introduced to the classical tantric philosophies of Ananda Marga, the Path of Bliss, Mollie knew that she had found the wholistic yoga practices, teachers, and community that would become the basis of her spiritual growth and offerings.  Ananda Marga Yoga lies deeply rooted within the philosophy of Ashtanga Yoga, as classically presented through the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

To establish a strong and balanced foundation for properly pursuing yogic quests, Mollie's teachings reflect the moral & ethical principles of this practice, and are geared towards promoting health of body & proper functioning of the mind.  This naturally creates an opportunity for students to better understand their emotional, spiritual, and more subtle energetic bodies, while exploring and challenging their physical body through refinement of form, & intellectual body through focus, awareness and introspection.

Mollie has been teaching public yoga classes in Austin TX, since graduating from her first teacher training in 2006.  Before becoming a full time yoga instructor, two years after her teachings first began, Mollie worked with young children both locally & abroad, and still continues to do so by working with several non-profit organizations within the United States, Asia, and Central America that focus on the same.  In 2009, after returning home from a 7 month tour of selfless service in Asia, Mollie began working towards her advanced certification with Yoga Alliance, and is now registered at the ERYT 500 hour level.

After studying with David Swenson upon her return to the U.S., Mollie became certified to teach Ashtanga Yoga, and immediately began to base her classes around the art of graceful transitioning, both on the mat and off.  Her practices and teachings of vinyasa based yoga, continued to evolve through further study and training with Sean Corn, and Sadie Nardini, which she has beautifully combined with her therapeutic trainings of asana with Donna Farhi and Leslie Kaminoff.  While studying the "intuitive life science" of Ayurveda over the past several years, she has naturally begun to incorporate this sister science to yoga within her teachings and lifestyle practices as well.

Mollie currently offers Hatha and Vinyasa based public yoga classes, that are centered around fluid meditative movements with the breath, and range in skill level from the newest beginner, to intermediate and advanced levels of experience.  Her all level workshops on Ayurveda focus on our human relationship to the 5 elements, the changing of seasons, and importance of our relationship and communion with nature.  Mollie is a guest teacher at the Austin Yoga Expo and Festival, and hosts trainings, workshops and retreats both locally in her hometown, and internationally within the united global community.
