Yoga & the 5 Elements

May 20th from 12-2pm in Studio 3 at the Austin Yoga Expo & Conference. 

The 5 elements of Ether, Air, Fire, Water, & Earth can be found within each human just as they are found within nature. This workshop will explore the energetic & physical locations of these different elements within our own physical and energetic bodies, through the practices of asana, mantra, mudra & pranayama. We will begin with a brief discussion about the relationship these elements have within the chakra system, & different ways that we can sequence our asana practice around the balancing of these 5 elements. To further our understanding, we will follow it up with an hour and a half vinyasa sequence, that is best suited for students who have an understanding & regular practice of
